San Jose beginning of Highway 9. Es2k and I were together when we got pulled over.

 

wow finally they got u for the exhaust? ...that suck...but that means time for a new set up/ exhaust heheh....sad to hear u got pulled over steveo....damn...

This last week, I've seen city, sheriff, and CHP staked out everywhere looking for speeders. They are definitely looking to increase their revenue stream with the budget shortfalls, so everyone keep the speeds in check and keep an eye on your six.

 

Just got my notice in the mail.. It's $391 for the "emmisions violations" (test pipe, intake) if I have proof the other 3 were signed off (loud exhaust, tint, front plate). Since i got the others taken care of, does that mean I just pay the fine and I dont have to go to a ref? Or would getting my car inspected benefit me?

 

Got my ticket to for front plate, $150+ if I dont get it signed off.

 

So you got caught with a test pipe or you mean they classified intake as a testpipe?

 

He saw the test pipe, but they just classified both the test pipe and intake under "Emissions Violations"

 

I woke up at 3AM and went for a ride. I saw a total of maybe 10 cars running on 680 and city streets combined. I came across a copper and he followed me along Piedmont Rd and Sierra Rd on my way home. Finally left me alone on Morrill Ave.

It's 3AM and they are still on the lookout!

I'm all stock with front plates on but was kind of worried about the tint. I just know that if I had no front plates, I would have been cited for the tint as well.
