I discovered on my oxidized GPW AP1 top, if you put clear masking tape on it; it actually makes it viewable!

have any pictures of the plastic window? i used plastic x on mine (both inside and out) and it cleared it up a lot although i hate looking through the plastic window still.

i didnt buy it for a convertible lol

Just a heads up too. I used the rain-x headlight restoration kit and majority of the oxidation cleared up!

My top is a little worse than yours, but yeah looks like its going to need a replacement if you really want it to be nice & clear. Clean AP1! I still remember when mine looked just like that! And its right next to a GPW!
