It's Over
And we won Rookie of the Year. I can now, finally, have a good night's sleep during a week day for the first night in a loooooooong time. Sadly enough, 1.25 years.
5th in Acceleration
10th in Skid Pad
14th in Endurance
and a few other standings we done care about as much.
Next years car will be the 2nd to ultimate vehicle one can manufacture. Here are some pics of our first year car and some legacy cars off the iPhone.
I'll see you guys Friday night (for once).
Special thanks to the boys at Modacar for lending me the dyno, and Casey for having the balls to sit in this thing while I was tuning it, trusting that the bolts and nuts backing out weren't too important. Especially thanks for his input and advise on the tuning, which allowed me to finish up within 1 hour of actual dyno time, at least for the 8-12k rpm majority of the power band. The rest was done in an alleyway in school, maybe 20 mins.
I'll put up more pics later tomorrow morning, need to make a call that I'm getting late for.. good night!
