Damn, I can't believe its already been two years...just seemed like yesterday when I was talking to my coworker saying, "Wow, I can't believe it's already been a year."

Yeah it seems like not to long ago I was staring at the news coverage of a jetliner hitting the tower that morning and thinking, "Is this an intro to Command and Conquer or some video game? Is this for real?"

i was on vacation in Hawaii and i got a call @ 7:30am AFTER a hard nite of partying and heard the news... I was then stuck in Hawaii for another 5 days... and ALL the flights going INTO the US made emergency landing on the island in case there were anymore terrorists on board....

I was actually scheduled to fly out to my ex's in Virginia that following Friday after 911 because I had already purchased a ticket prior to the event. I think my flight was the first or 2nd flight out of SFO. Kinda scary because the plane was completely empty...but it was totally nice to have empty seats so you can lay down and sleep.
