I was thinking about a drive today, but by the time I got up and did all the crap I needed to, its started getting clouded and sprinkly again. Well, at least I drove the S around to run errands...the misty stuff doesnt bother me much, but I still dont like wet roads. And yes, of course I was out top down. I hope others had better luck and got in a better drive today.
Hookey day is looking like it will need to be Thursday. Still need to figure out a route though. IShort day or longer day? I need to take traffic hour and directions into consideration in selecting our route.

As of Monday, the weather outlook for Thursday looks good. Any precipitation looks to be far north of the Bay Area, although any drives heading North may be an issue.
I suggest a mid- morning run for a couple hours and then end up somewhere to grab lunch and then another hour or so run back so that we avoid the traffic times. I am thinking of meeting at Skyline and 92, and making a run down on Skyline (35) from 92 heading South and then splintering off west on one of the smaller roads towards the coast, weave around a few of those before heading into Boulder Creek or Felton for Lunch? Then return on a few more of the smaller roads before heading back.
This will NOT be a balls-out drive, rather more of a spirited run thriough the hills. Agressive drivers are welcome to go ahead...so long as you don't attract too much attention from any patrols out there.
Particpants of the disorganized Hookey Day can bring handheld radios if you'd like, just in case.
More updates as the day gets nearer. Please make suggestions and comments.

I played hookey today-forum. I am playing hookey friday-BW. If I take anymore this week, it will be permanent hookey until further notice. I think I am pushing it this week already. I'll let you what the climate is in the office on wednesday. Who knows...
