Lol this is hilarious. I have unlimited talk, unlimited data, and insurance. My unlimited data is $30/mo while they don't offer that anymore. Price out AT&T to what I have and you'll be paying more. Call it a rip or whatever you want but if I got the paper to burn and still mod the car and do anything without worrying about funds I really don't care. I can talk as long as I want, download and surf all I want, and still pay the same amount each month without worrying about overage charges

At some point AT&T slows down your data download speed

$130 for one line? geez thats crazy
yeah dude, we have 3 business lines with att for that.
Biz gets discounts. Are they smartphones? What plans do you have? Everyone seems so shocked about my unlimited everything plan, but what do you have? I don't care about the bill. I'm debt free. I paid off all my debt so $130/mo isn't anything compared to what I used to pay.

2 smart phones with data/txt/nationwide
1 regular phone with txt/nationwide

Not really sure how wasting money is ever a thing to brag about. Great you're debt free, now save some money and get att's $70/month unlimited plan.

I call bs on that plan. I was with AT&T for the longest on a shared plan at it was no where close to that. And this was before the new data plans. I can get hookups for business plans with other carriers, but found Verizon to be the best.

Funny how all of you are stressing what I pay a month. It might affect you, but it has no impact on my bank account.

Just for one line? How many minutes you have? You can send and receive text msg on the iPhone for free as long as you or your friends have the latest software of the iphone

I use google voice call forwarding along with a family "top ten". So I have unlimited minutes and my family deals with the rest of the peak minutes to share. So while you pay to play I am working the system since Verizon thinks every incoming and outgoing call on my iPhone is from one number, my google voice. It's better to beat the man than to pay the man.

How much do you save/month?

Since it's a family plan, it's hard to factor specifically. I share something like 2000 minutes with 3 other phones. I literally use about 5 minutes each month. Those are from the couple times I forget and dial with non-google-voice. We were able to reduce our bill once I started using this method because we were paying exta $ for extra minutes. Verizon only offers a "top ten" option for family plans with a certain amount of minutes paid for.

Milking minutes through a "top ten" or "fave five" (t-mobile's old thing) is really the best way to go.

Verizon has me paying $30/month for unlimited data on my i-phone. They originally had me on a 2GB limit. Then I called and the same exact $30/month was available for an unlimited plan!

I'm a huge fan of google voice. Nothing else lets you text/talk from the LAPTOP as well as the phone. It's nice to have all your contacts stored online, that way you can access them anywhere anytime. If I forget my phone for a day, hell, I have have YOUR phone ring with all my incoming calls. It's also nice if you live in a rural area, because you can have your home phone ring when the google voice calls. Other perks include voicemail transcripts (I NEVER listed to voicemails, I read them when they show up in my email/text history). The google voice app completely eliminates the need to PAY for text message plans. Its a free ap, with a free local phone number.

Need I say more, convert to google voice. They recently began allowing MMS messages, which end up in your email.

Very cool. So txting could appear as an email in my iphones email box and I reply and the other person gets it back as texts?
