Default Invidia N1 Dual db?

I'm going to Laguna Seca on Friday and they have a 92db exhaust noise limit. I have an Invidia N1 dual cat-back on my Ap2. I'm gonna bring my db killers just in case. Does anyone know what's the db this exhaust generates? ...I've searched and I can only find ppl talking about it being loud, no one is actually reporting any numbers though.

I'd rather run the oem exhaust than run that on the track with the silencers on. The silencers will "effectively" turn that 70mm exhaust into a tiny one instead. You wont like driving it on the track.

from my understanding of the dual version, i've only owned the single, i highly doubt it will pass the 92db limit

With that exhaust you will break the 100db level. Even with the silencers you will still be pushing it.

Yeah i figured... On this forum (don't know how true can this be) they say the S2k Ap1 at limiter on first gear (i suppose the comparison was made with stock cars) is even louder than the Murcielago 6.2, the Viper SRT-10, McLaren SLR etc. and it measured 89db, so with that Exhaust i'll be way over that limit!

The problem with these db readings is they are likely using A-weighting which places less emphasis on lower frequency sounds, which helps the db reading of large motors since they tend to emit lower frequency sounds vs our high revving I-4.

It make sense... My doubt is still on the Murciélago though. That's a screaming beast, different noise from the muscle V8'S. Anyways, to stay on topic, tomorrow morning I'm switching back to The OEM exhaust for Laguna Seca. I had no choice
