I'm interested in Wawa, but then again, I don't really trust those online insurance sites anymore ever since Progressive screwed me hard once.

this is a topic i know oh so very well....

PROGRESSIVE ALL THE WAY!!!

I've had my numerous run in with the law and im constantly looking up insurance prices/policies and comparing them about every 4 months to see who I should go with. There are 1 or 2 other cheaper ones but I noticed every incident/claim I've had with Progressive was handled VERY FAST and easy compared to most other insurance companies I've dealt with and that alone was worth my extra few bucks a month over the cheaper insurances.

Also, I believe they only hold your records or your faulted records for 3-5 years where as alot of other insurance companies sometimes go as far back as 5-7 years, depending on what it is of course.

Go with Wawanesa. I've been with them for the past 6 years. Before them Iw as with Progressive and Mercury.

Great rates, great customer service. They're basically the AAA of Canada and have been around for a long time. Check out their AM Best rating, they're rated A+

try NATIONWIDE MUTUAL my rates from them are lower than Wawanesa by a few hundred bucks with higher coverage and lower deductables. no bad things to report about them in the 20+ yrs my family has been using them.

Guys, when you say you got screwed - are you talking about just paying too much or screwed in how they DO NOT want to pay out a claim? BIG DIFFERENCE!

IMO, insurance is like most other things in life you buy - good ones do cost more but if you have a good record, over time they will treat you better.

I've stayed with State Farm since like forever and have a total of 12 policies with them throughout the years.

They are low cost for me with my good record but most importantly they pay out on any claim I need quickly and with no fuss. That is part of "good service" for me. I would hate to have some cheapo place like Geico, that is cheaper by a few bucks but hard to get them to honor a claim.

I have no issues with modded parts and I love being able to be on a first name basis with my agent. I can call him, email him or just stop by his office anytime with questions. To me that is worth it's weight in gold.

I don't know how some of you can go with this TV hoopla crap like Esurance, Eastwood on radio, or these other online only places!
