Maybe you should try lowballing them and see that they say.

i'm with mercury and i'm too lazy to look for cheaper unless they raise my rates, but right now my car is pretty new so the fast depreciation is driving my rates down

AAA = very good service/coverage but rates

new kid on the the block, Wawanesa = very nice rates (if you're in their coverage area) & decent service
I'm with wawanesa, very nice rates and good service, their home office is in San Diego, CA. I pay $67 per month for my s with decent coverage with no point. They have been cutting my rate 20% a year over last couple years.

don't have any personal experience w/e-surance, but, from what i've heard/read lately, it sounds like their service sucks.

Yup... Wawanesa is AWESOME - but you have to have a clean record. I believe they will drop you if you have more than one point on your record.

AAA is also great - I've had nothing but good service with them. I pay about $1800 a year for my 03 S2000 and 01 Insight (full coverage). If ever I need to change, though, I will definitely go with Wawanesa. Assuming my record is clean.
minako - do you currently have Wawanesa? I just got a quote from them that is 30% cheaper than AAA, which is cheaper than my 21st Century. How is their customer service and claims process? Just wondering since their quote is so good. I think I'm probably going to switch over from 21st Century to either Wawanesa (if I get feedback about them) or AAA.

Thanks for the tip!

Any feedback on your experience with Wawanesa customer service or claims process would be great if you could. Thanks!

My sister in law used to have wawanesa. She insured my old RSX for me. After two months i got hit, it got t-boned and was totalled. Insurance dealt with me the whole time and never had a problem making the claim. Had a lawyer to handle the case and chiropractors. They(Lawyer) raped me on my case settlements tho. I didn't get what i expected from the accident.

I'm planning on going with Wawanesa for my next car. Hope this helps

I"m with Wawanesa since 2005, I had one no fault claim with them, their claim process is the same compare to other companies, quick and smooth.
