Just purchase a used 2000 S2000. Needs work on interior. The accessory power outlet is loose and the convertble top needs to have the stops adjusted, the ones located at your shoulder. Lots of air leaks at the windshield. Locking down the top and then tapping the top down control quiets it down, but would like to do it right. Also the drivers window only goes part way down when the top is put up or down. Checked the shop manual and the job requires a lot of disassembly that requires experience, tools, spare parts. Need a good shop!

So I believe the window problem is a known TSB issue but I don't know if honda will cover it...

I've got a bunch of tools and have taken apart most of the car (minus the top), so if you want to take care of the simpler stuff w/o having to pay a shop...I'm right in town.

First of all, congratulations and welcome!

What color exterior/interior?

The power outlet thing is easy to fix. There is a nut on the back side. A bit if a pain to get to as you have to remove the center console or atleast shift it up. You just tighten this and the outlet will be secured.

There are 2 bolt heads, one on either side of the shoulder that adjust the top. You may also want to condition that rubber to reduce wind noise.

How oxidized is your plastic rear window?
