The FiPK is a great investment; especially if you find yourself in traffic a lot. It removed much of my low rpm bog that drove me nuts when this car was stock. Sound was amazing, throttle response picked up; actual powerband gains may or may not exist. However adding more air, ease of drivability, and a sexy sound was a very worthwhile $250 investment in my book. I'm not a fan of the comptech, because it removes the ram-air effect that the S's construction has. The FiPK does not remove this.

I logged Intake temperature on both CT engineering and K&N FIPK. CT Engineering intake consistently about 20 degree cooler. Sitting in traffic, both will be about the same. Once moving, the CT engineering intake cools much faster. The K&N still sucking the hot air from engine compartment. That being said, the K&N is bang for the buck.
