intake decision

I agree...the best intake is the OEM intake that you already have
On the other hand, the only aftermarket intake I would get since it has a dyno proven chart with it is the PasswordJDM CF intake, if I had money to burn. I simply like the bubbly alien snorkel look.
Dyno Proven 11.6rwhp!

If you really still want an intake, I would just get the K&N FIPK.

How about this..Save your money and come out to the dyno day. My buddy will be there with his AP1 and it just has an exhaust on it and a drop in filter. See how much mine, or anyone elses with just an intake/exhaust differs.
Just food for thought so you don't waste your money.

how about this, #YOLO. lololol
on a serious note, other than Force Induction, a J's racing block, LS7 or any big boi engine transplant, mods like intake and exhaust will give you minimal gains and for the money you spend at you might beat yourself up like a boss.
im no expert on the matter but if you really want (what you really, really want) the route you wanna go, might as well go the header + intake + exhaust route. though again it won't give you over 9000 hp gain, it is decent enough for you to feel the difference.
