Wow...

To the OP, yes the less mileage that you claim your going to drive, most of the time, your insurance will go down. Some insurance companies will still charge you the same. Either way, they will still cover the car.

I've never had them say much about mileage on a weekend car. My S and Bikes have all been weekend fun with 3 times that amount per year.

Khac, I can't believe you drink and drive daily I guess it's good that you'll be cutting that down to the weekend

This means rims, suspension and other mods are on the way

haha, I didn't know that drink and drive daily myself. Maybe I drank too much to remember anything.

There'll be some mod, but it's not a priority right now. Maybe sometime late next year. I need to save up some money. I will need to stop drink and drive daily first, cause that's just too costly.

, too! It would have been forgivable had it not been a harsh, ignorant comment. Who's the "D" now?!

For those who said their policies indicated that their providers suggest to limit their mileage to a certain number, do you mind telling us who is your insurance provider? I'm with 21st Century (now AIG) and although I declared my S to be a weekend driver, there is nothing in my policy that says or suggests that I limit my mileage.

As already mentioned, it doesn't matter what day in the week - if the weekend car gets damaged during a weekday, it will still be covered.

If you are insuring 5 cars, it helps declaring even just one car to be a weekend driver. Little savings, but it helps.
