Insurance
Hi everyone,
Just wondering who everyone uses for insurance, and what their experience has been.
I'm looking for a company that is national, and can do a "stated value" policy in particular.
Thanksl!

I use Allstate. Decent rate if you own 2 or more cars and buy home insurance (renters or owners). I can refer you to my agent if you are interested Ben. He's located in downtown Campbell.

I use AAA. I was surprised at the rate. I currently have 2 convertibles; 1999 jeep wrangler with $8000.00 in mods and a 2005 S2k. both sports convertibles. the jeep is for sale and I was quoted at $130.00 per month just for the S. I have no tickets on my record but I'm not married. I have a friend and she pays $110.00 per month. good luck bro

Geico Insurance. Full coverage on the S2k and liability on the EK, is about $111 a month. Plus there are California discounts: 5-year good driver discount, Multi-car discount, Good student discount and etc.

I'm too dumb to know what a "stated value" policy is, but I'm with Mercury and they've been fine. I pay $105/month to insure my '02 S2000. I'm in San Jose, 27 years old, no points, 100/300/100 coverage, 500/100 collision/comprehensive deductibles. Only discount I have is a "scientist's discount."
I've had one claim through Mercury for hit-and-run damage to my car and that went pretty smoothly. Only downside is Mercury uses third-party brokers and agents, so you seldom talk to an actual Mercury employee unless you're filing a claim.

I've got State Farm. . . I could go cheaper, but after the way they defended me after a $2.5M suit against me, they won me over.
