Really? My parents have owned 6 Honda's (bought new) and never had this problem before and some cars had more mileage than my beater.

I just hope by replacing the parts will fix the problem, else I'll be back to route 1 in diagnostic.

shieet...almost the same thing happened to me yesterday on the beater (92 integra). I started the car, and I stalled it and it wouldn't start back up. THis has happened before, but I was always able to start it back up after a few try. But this time it wouldn't start again. You guys think its the same problem? I thought it was the fuel pump, but I heard the fuel pump moving when i turned to ON position.

Is yours Auto or 5-speed? I got an auto so I can't push start it.

mine is 5spd, i can't push start it since its stuck in the garage @ work. I am pretty sure push starting it will work. so yours crank but just won't fire up too?

Yes, it cranks and sounds like it will start but it doesn't. I took apart the distributor and i will need to replace the unit along w/ the coil pack.
I should get the part by tomorrow hopefully cuz I hate driving my S to work. Bunch of crazy drivers/parkers at my workplace.

well on the positive side you can enjoy the weather today with the top down in the S.

this is a common problem on aged b-series and d-series engines.

so how did it turn out? i changed my dist cap and rotor, still wouldn't do it. Although I tried roll starting it ... it almost started. The tow truck guy said its the ignition coil.
