Default Install shops for alarm?

I have a alarm I want to install and looking at the Bay Area Directory Sticky, I went to KarToyz on Alum Rock and they quoted me $350 to install an alarm

Do you guys have any recomendations for shops that install alarms for a good price? $80-$100 range? Thanks in advance for any input.

don't skimp on installation.

having a quality install job is just as important as the quality of the alarm itself.

check out Custom Car Alarms in SF (inside SF Honda) or Pleasant Hill.

Sound Innovation in Hayward does excellent work too.

You're right, $350 is a lot. I think anywhere from $100-$200 is probably normal for even the best installation.

I got my headunit and dci installed at KarToyz. The guy installing the stuff did a great job, but I can't say the same for their customer service in general. The guys there talk to you like you either dunno sh*t, or you're not worth their time. I'd rather take my business to someone who'd appreciate it a little more and showed their customers some respect. Their stuff is overpriced imo and so is there labor fee.

KarToyz gets a from me.

i totally agree. i just heard from others that $100 is enough for a quality alarm install.

I live in the southbay but I'll give Custom Car Alarms and Sound Innovation a call to see how their prices are. thanks

yeah remote start. i've heard many places not doing remote start on manual cars because of safety issues but some places will install it anyways.
