Default Initial-D Ver. 4 Arcade

So I went to the golf land near my house to check out the newest addition to the initial-D family ... To easily put it, if you don't have hook ups on tokens, don't bother playing this game. It's not worth the 20 tokens for 1 card, and an addition 4 tokens for every car you make (You can make 3 on one card)

Gameplay: VERY different from the original initial-d's. It shouldn't be even called initial-D anymore ... If you guys have played Maximum Tune or whatever it's called, its basically that with a little more gimmicks here and there. (like weight transfer, if you upshift in the middle of the turn, the car will knock sideways and almost spin out, causing you to countersteer and stuff) The only good part is, you have to utilize the brake for once, and feather the throttle through a turn. It's still pretty crappy, a lot like maximum tune/need for speed underground mixed together

Graphics/basic look of the game: The graphics sort of improved from the last, the rivals actually talk in japanese (and they have dialect while you're playing the game too, like when you pass your enemy, he starts trippin )

Realistic values/gimmicks: Gameplay wise, this is FARR from being real. Even more further than the older initial-d's (i know initial-d wasn't meant to be realistic but shoot, this game is so unrealistic its not even that fun anymore) The cars actually have a redline now, (as in you can't rev past the rev line like in the older ones)

of course, I made an s2000 (they only had AP1) and a lancer evolution 9. Point system is changed in that, its more like gran turismo where you collect points and use them as you please to modify and switch around things on your car. Each car is not issued their own point system but you collect them as a whole using the cars you buy. (which is cool because you can use 4wd for wet, rwd/fwd for dry and stuff like that)

overall: if it wasn't so freaking expensive, it would actually be worth while ... If you didn't like the game maximum tune, you probably wont like this one ... stick to the older initial-d's for the downshift, let go of gas, turn, mash the gas again sort of ordeal. I don't know why I made a review for this, but i have nothing better to do on a friday night so... ROLFOFLFOl gg.

Can you transfer your V3 cards over to this one? If not, I'm probably not even gonna bother playing.
