Inexpensive painting in San Jose?
I have removed, sanded and primed my front bumper cap to repair scrapes along lower front lip. Found other chips and ended up sanding and spraying primer on most of the cap. I have purchased two part base and two part clear coat from Center Paint in SJ. A buddy was going to help me with the paint, but he is out of town for a few weeks.
Typical body shops are quoting more than $400 for the respray. And, of course, they do not want to use the paint that I purchased.
Any leads on painters who will work with me and my paint?

I chose quality over cost and have given the job to a body shop with which I have had positive a experience.
Since curb rash on the lower front bumper seems to be a fact of life, I am seriously considering buying a compressor and spray gun and learning how to lay down a coat of paint. One cost of respray can easily cover most of the equipment cost.
