Heh, that'll get you an H&R Block return maybe, a professional cpa firm will cost you at least 500+, sadly.

Don't think so, I just did a return where the guy made $54k, so you'd have to check the relevant publications.
Turbo tax said something like $30k adjusted income. Doesn't matter though - I don't rent!

I'd rather just pay a tax consultant $20 to do it and if anything goes wrong, it's on his ass not mine.
If he misses out on deductions, you will just overpay! I wouldn't trust anyone making only $20 with my taxes. Just like I don't eat where people make minimum wage!

What is probably the case by now is that all of the good accountants are already booked solid through April 14th. I can't imagine using H&R block instead of Turbo Tax though!

I've had my taxes done for a week already.

Well gee, thanks, I think. I was going off of what I've seen at the CPA firm that I'm working at right now, and returns that take less than two hours to do are charged over $500, so if you've found someone that charges you less, more power to you.

I didn't buy that many video games last year, and even then, it shouldn't make a difference - how many lap dances did you buy?. I was in school last year, so I don't see why you're jumping down my throat about making less than some magical income amount. I'm trying to share some information that I learned now that I'm working at a CPA firm since I think it'll help some people out, but if this is the kind of reaction that I'm gonna get, why should I bother?

I didnt much make last year or any year before that so paying $20 seemed fair to me. It was just straight salary and nothing major to deduct.
