If you find another roomate, you can live across the walkway from lovely ME and Deb.
Rent went down to $2000 for a two bedroom, move in special is 1 free month.
The place is a spacious 1250 square feet. two baths/two beds and a huge kitchen
only about 2-3 years old.
if you want to check out the pad, contact either me or deb.
Supposedly they are considered luxury apartments

I just saw an nice, huge apartment last night in Burlingame for $1000 w/underground, secure parking! New carpets, nice kitchen, huge bedroom... so it is possible to get something nice for $1000.

There are even apartments in Redwood City that aren't so bad and they're ranging from $850-$1000.

So...I might find a place soon! Whoooohoooo... thanks for the input everyone!

you might try checking out available local housing on the board at tressider union at stanford....lots of grad students coming and going.....if you can pass for a "starving student" instead of an affluent s2000 owner you might get lucky!![lots of nice cottages behind big houses in woodside, atherton and portola valley...keep looking!!!

There is a place opening up in my building soon.... it's not the best place in the world... but it's right center downtown menlo park. Not sure how much they are going to be asking... prolly in the 13-1500 range for a 2bd/1ba.

Congrats Deb. With underground parking, you could make Stewart your gimp... then we'll take turns driving his M3? Should I start a poll?
