$50 ain't bad to have a bike transported.

of course, you wouldn't want to pay if you didn't have to, but it's better than risking someone else cracking themselves &/or your bike up.

i'd just bite the bullet and have it shipped.

I had my bike delivered from LA back in early 2001 when all the local dealers had crazy mark ups on the silver and black F4is. It's good peace of mind and in my case it was fun having the receptionist at work tell me that there was a delivery for me. I also had an ultra cool boss that told me to take the rest of the day off.

Lets trade off.. you teach me how to snowboard (I've been out twice in the last two weekends... but before that, wayyy back in High School), I'll be more than happy to do the same with the bike.

Darn you guys... if a handfull of you are getting bikes, I may end up picking another one up to ride with ya'll.

Prices on bikes from the midwest are perfect this time of the season, haha...

I remember my first day with the new RR.. I had been looking forward to this bike for a long while...

We'll have to have a bay area bike thread started in the next couple months if the number of riders keep climbing.

By the way.. never.. ever wear sneakers and cargos on a bike. Get some decent ankle covering boots/shoes and a good pair of denims or leathers.

I was just on my way to school a couple miles down the road.

And no.. I have no idea why I put on a face like that for the camera.

LOL Deal. Although snowboarding is probably a heck of a lot more easy than learning how to ride well.

And falling on the snow isn't as painful as falling on the pavement. ^_-

I dunno, snow can hurt too.

It isn't the pavement that hurts so much when you have the right gear, but the cage that is following too close can leave a mark.
