I have the new Filtech Honda OEM filter you could try... even has a couple of track days in it too.

(Remember I was talking to you about the 6 hole Toyo-Roki oil filters being the better ones vs. the 8 hole replacement Filtech ones... at least supposedly)
Sweet. That's basically the OEM Honda US one right? I have the ones with 6 hoes

You have this one

I believe it is the other way around. Filtech = 6, Toyo Roki = 8

So far those two filters look good but I'd like to see other filters like my hoopty Amsoil filter that I'll probably never use. I'd also like to measure the bypass spring tension. The Amsoil filter bypass is super soft compared to the made in Japan Honda filter. I would think the least amount of bypass the best but if the Amsoil filter flows so well that it can get away with that weak bypass spring then that means the filter media can't be filtering that much. My guess as of now is that if it has a weak bypass spring then it's going to either bypass too much or not filter that much or not filter as much on each pass but filter out more. If you slow velocity down, the filter can capture more particles.

It'll be interesting to say the least.

Your right... my bad meng. I'm getting old...

Mac... I have the 6 hole tard one. I thought you had a whole bunch of the 8 hole filters? I remember our discussion about flow rate with more holes versus less. ROFL.
I do have the 8 hole ones..
