i use state farm, they've been cool.
EDIT: (and were very reasonable with maybe a $10/year upgrade on premium to cover thousands of dollars worth of stereo/performance/suspension mods)
you want to shop around so get information on how deductible amounts affect premiums and go from there

Geico is horrible for modified cars.. They wouldn't accept my Civic because it had a roll bar and they wanted me to have my car signed off by a peace officer stating it was safe for street use lol.
I have had the best luck with progressive. Been with them since leaving Geico and haven't turned to look back at them or AAA. Customer service is phenominmal, Prices are decent compared to others and there are no hidden fees bs to deal with when renewing my policy.

well it's for my bimmer. the problem is i have A LOT of violations under my belt and my current insurance said "F YOU" for staying clean for two years. (my last ticket *knock on wood* was january 5th, 2010.) with all that said i just want someone to point me out to someone who can work with me to get a six month quote. most of my violations will be gone within 6 months and im dropping some of those this july 21st
