order a new key from honda... thats the next best thing to a locksmith... why didnt you trade the lock for the trunk? now he can open your trunk with his key and you can open his with yours.

Look this one should be pretty simple. You don't need the immboilzer to open the trunk and the other guys car is pre 04 right? If so then have him make a simple key and have him send you it. You don't need it to be a honda key and you don't need it to be programmed. Hell you might even be able to get it done at home depot. Most places that make a key should be able to make you a dupe. Should be pretty cheap.
If you have to get into the trunk before then you'll probably have to pull the panels behind the seats but even then I'm not sure that is easy.

incline the passenger seat, take off the panel behind the seat.... get a flashlight and a long solid pole or stick, then push the cover towards the trunk (the one that covers the spare tire from the trunk view), this might be hard coz of the locks... but once you get that thing out, you can see the safety tab that unlatch the trunk from inside (should be colored red or glow in the dark white, i forgot what color).... pull/push with your pole or stick.
btw, im thinking our trunks has this safety tab thing, i forgot and im not using my oem trunk so i wont know. if it does, then that trick should work.
