Default I need HELP!

hey guys,

I recently traded oem trunks with a s2k member in LA. I test fitted to see if the ap1 trunk would fit on my ap2 but being the dumba$$ myself, i forgot to connect the wires for the third brake light and the latch. So basically i can't open my trunk anymore and the guy lives in LA. Also he only has one key so he can't ship it. Does anyone know how i can open the trunk without the key? There's something very important in my trunk that i need by tonight. So please any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

you could try drilling out the lock cylinder and manually turning it. i guess it all depends on how important this item is in your truck. if it were something as important as let's say a penis pill, i'd bust out the sawzall

Hmm.. I'm wondering if you removed the soft top and rear deck plastic thingie... you might be able to crawl in there and release it from the inside? I am pretty sure there's a schematic somewhere on this site that shows how to remove the rear plastic deck.

i called about 10 locksmiths in the bay area. They charge between $180-$250 just to get my trunk open.

Leave it in downtown Oakland. They'll open it up for free.
