Hwy 9 today?
Any interest in running 9 today later in the afternoon? I'll be up there definitely, but I want to see if anyone else is interested for a joy ride/cruise.

I was up on 9 yesterday afternoon. There was a CHP waiting right near the top of 9/35, just below the summit facing downhill on the shoulder.
Also, there was a Saratoga/Cupertino Sherrif's SUV racing up 9 as I was headed down...I think it was to meet the *totalled* Camaro Z28 coming off the tow truck in the parking lot up top... It looked like the driver stuffed it into the side of the mountain...
One more: About 2/3 of the way up, look for fairly obvious skid marks that stretch from one side to the opposite lane (kind of diagonally). A motorcylcle laid his bike down and had trouble starting it up again...
Anyway, just be careful.
Eddie.
p.s. There's a ton of traffic on weekends
