Default Hwy 9 Accident

I was invited on this breakfast run on Sat. morning by a buddy who's got a Z06. I was up at Thunderhill on Sat., but wouldn't have gone anyways cause shiet like this always happens when a bunch of enthusiasts get together to play Daytona 500 on public streets.

Good thing no passenger was in the car....and it was especially fortunate that no bikers or joggers were on the side of the road.

That's a bummer! Definitely something to take into consideration!

Does that front right tire look worn to anyone else?

OH! I've always wanted to be the first one to say this in a post about a crash:

Ahhh.... that'll buff right out.

Here's what the driver said:
This was not a case of driving beyond abilities or conditions. As mentioned earlier, we really were just cruising. The car grossly under-steered through the corner. I take corners MUCH faster than this on a regular basis! It almost didn

The tire looked low on tread, but nothing that would cause that with dry roads.

Driving too fast on cold tires = driver error.
