Any way I could pick the tires tomorrow morning? It'll have to be early so I can mount em If you're still awake give me a call! I'll be up trying to find a shop that can mount it.

Car is spotless, now the question is "Should I leave the hard top at home or not? I love topless driving, but the weather seems a little iffy...
I would imagine that if I had a hardtop... by the time I got up to Skyline and saw all the other S2k's with their tops down, I'd be wishing I left it at home
...I agree, however it's kind of a risk. My soft top is destroyed and if it rains I'm screwed.

Yup yup! Waking up early to make this one. Since we are in Walnut tonight, we will be meeting with the East Bay group to begin the drive. We should be able to make it for the whole event, but might peace out early since we will basically be driving past my other house in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

I was on Highway 84/35/9 today and this evening and road conditions were great. A lot of tourists this weekend, probably trying to catch the last sun rays before winter soaks us. I didn't get a sense whether there would be a lot of fog in the hills/redwoods tonight, but it wouldn't surprise me based on watching the sun set.

Bring 2-way radios people, it really helps to communicate between the cars with more than sign language.

Ah, that does make it more of a commitment. I didn't think the weather report looked too bad though? Well, if you do decide to leave it at home and if things end up turning ugly, I'll at least have a California Pop Top in my trunk that you'd be welcome to use while we're parked.
