You can just go to most auto parts store and get a Y trailer bracket (~$15) and then go to any honda dealer (~$2.50) or get a bolt from any honda's plate and bolt that to the bolt whole on the grill if the mounting clip is still on there. Thats how I have my plate on and i have had no problem with it and it make for easy removal for photo ops!!
Good luck!! And don't loose the ticket. Its a pain in the ass to get a copy.

^ That sucks Sam! So far I've never had a cop even look at me for no front plate. It seems like it's enforced completely arbitrarily. I guess it all depends if cop decides he doesn't like your face or something.

I was "plate-less" for 3 years and I never had any issues until last week. I got pulled over for tinted windows and no front plate. Cops in Napa will getcha! By the way, I'm going to put the front mount back on that came with the car... is it illegal to have a tinted plastic cover over the plate?

Yep, stay away from Howard also.. Got mine when I paying for the meter and the "meter-man" came up next to me and asked is this your car? I answered yes, and he goes, do you know it is illegal to not have your front plate on. I tried to play dumb and said, I didn't know. Then he goes, well by law I am required to give you a ticket. But it is a correctable violation. Ticket is $100! Guess i'll have to slap on my plate too and pay that $10.
