How often do S2000's get stolen / vandalized?
Hello all.. I will be looking to get another car probably within the next year or so and I've always wanted to get an S2000, but I'm a little scared of having it stolen or parts of it stolen. How often does it happen in the Bay Area? I live in San Jose and most of the time it will be parked in a garage, but sometimes I'll have it parked outside. What kind of precautions do you guys take? Thanks for any input.

It's like buying any cars, you'll have a chance of getting it stolen or vandalized. Don't let that stop you from getting a S2000 though. I would just get a 2 way alarm with motion detector and good insurance.

s2000's don't get stolen or vandalized that often...
some of their parts do though, but that goes with the territory of owning any soft top convertible really... or any car in general now-a-days. Also if you're worried about the seats, get some seat locks...
and/or a springfield

I don't actually own an S2000, I just steal one and drive it until it runs out of gas, then steal another.
