How much does a custom 10" sub enclosure cost
Generally speaking, i wonder if its worth getting the WLAURENT enclosure or, would a local shop be able to build a custom one for not much more

it depends on what you want done. a simple rectangular box is fairly simple to make and shouldnt cost you more than $150 bucks tops. if you want a custom shaped one that fit in some bizarre location, then you will normally be asked to pay shop rate of about $65- $125 bucks an hour (custom fabrication rates). thats without a subwoofer.

It really depends on your needs. If you want something that will bolt in and out easy and modest bass needs, I think the Wlaurent box would be fine. If you really want your bass to hit, then something built to the exact specs of your chooses speaker would be better.
