Default How much for a compression/leak test?

I don't know if I'm just paranoid or if my intuitions are correct but it seems like my car is lacking the power it once had. I just changed my oil a couple weeks ago and it still seems abnormal.

How much does it cost to get a compression test/leak down test? Any where in particular? Do I need to take it to Honda?

Thanks in advance,

Bryan

$30 for kit(easy to do). $45 or more to pay someone to do it. Are you burning oil?

This should work for the compression test ($35): http://www.actron.com/product_detail.php?pid=16171

Not that I know of. Checked a few times after oil change and oil level is fine.

And if I was burning oil? What would be the problem?

Well if the rings are worn, you will start burning oil. And a compression test will tell you if the rings are worn. I would start with that. Maybe there will be another dyno day soon...

^^^^ It's normal for the F20c to burn some oil... Some do some don't.

Yeah but, if the burn rate has accelerated, or no oil is being burned at all, that is usefull info...
