I got a dB meter from Radio Shack. I can burp up to 120 dB after a few s!

Some horns are rated at 4 inches away from the horn. Some horns are rated at 1 meter. That makes a huge difference (every time you double the distance from the horn, you lose 6dB).

I had a Hella dual air horn kit for my Miata, and it was nice and loud. I tried replacing it with a pair of the FIAMM Freeway Blasters (the ones that are supposedly specially selected from the production line because they are extra loud). Despite having similar dB ratings, the air horns sounded much louder. That's probably because they were much higher pitched. I think they also measured louder on my sound meter too.

Either that, or take the buzzers out of about 1000 alarm clocks and wire them together. That should wake you up.

I put a 120 dB horn under the dash on my Integra, so the thieves would be tortured. Backup battery too.

Ken, you do know that they pick the fuse value based on how much current is safe to flow through the wire that's connected to it right? If you have to increase the fuse value, you should re-wire with larger gauge wire.
