Water before bed is ideal, but sometimes you can't get to the water. The only cure for a hangover is time......maybe some advil. Time=magic. Preferably sleep through the whole thing so you can survive the rest of the morning.

They talked about this on TV before Super Bowl Sunday.
Drink lots of water and take either Ibuprofen (Advil) or Naproxen (Alleve) before passing out. Do NOT take Acetominophen (Tylenol).
In the morning, more water, caffeine (kills headaches, check ingredient list on Migraine medicine), then greasy food...like hash browns, eggs, sausages, bacon. The greasy stuff helps, seriously!

While there may not be a "standard" remedy, does there need to be if a combination of several different methods have been successful for many people?
