Default How fast is your Bay Area Broadband Internet?

I have AT&T Broadband Cable Internet and clocked in at 1610.7 Kbps here:

I'm sure those of you at work are clocking in faster, but I am curious about you home broadband users. (Thank God for broadband internet! I can view all of wantone's posts. :-))

actually work access is slower than home... too many damn people with some filesharing programs open here at work.... and our network admins are complacent.... some people just don't know how to manage things.... boy I oughtta....

I average ~1500Kbps now too.
Up until about a year and a half ago, my average was ~3000Kbps during the day and sometimes at night I'd get ~4500Kbps!

541 Kbps on SBC basic DSL. It was faster than my network bog in the office...when I had a job.

Having been unemployed for two months, I've noticed that I get kick-ass bandwidth during the day and less bandwidth when everyone else comes home from work. (I am fortunate to have found a contract position in Mountain View starting next week so I'll be eager to join in on the lunches in the MV/SV area again on a more regular basis. Going to the lunches from Milpitas was really far for me and Abzug.)
