I need to get 2 new cars down here (bay area) but i dont want to drive them down. plus asking someone to do it with me in the middle of winter doesnt seem right. so has anybody had experience with it. I need help on who to call, how much $ it costs, and who is going to take the best car of my cars.

They are many car transportation companies out there. Cost depends if you want enclosed or open trailer.

I would guess around $1k for open trailer and maybe 1.5x-2x that for an enclosed trailer. I would assume you would get a discount for two cars.

I googled it and found this. I don't have any personal experience with doing this. But I know that other people have.

I have shipped cars from the bay area to the east coast and my
advice is that you do some shopping around and check with
consumer reports on the company you pick. The last car I shipped
was a year ago and it cost $900.00

Sometimes the transport comapany will piggy back the car by rail
at no extra charge. It all depends how many cars they have going
to the same area. Other wise the least expensive is by truck.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

i dunno......large pocket or a real BIG backpack??

womp womp womp

DAS seems to be used & recommended by a lot of Ebay Motors sellers, and I recall some Bay Area guy on here having a good experience having his car shipped by FedEX of all carriers.

if you can afford it, i would definitely consider getting a covered transport tho. it's storm season, and it'd be a shame to have your ride battered by snow and hail.
