Default Hot Local Audio Deal: Polk 6.5" components at Fry's

Fry's Electronics Friday SJ Mercury News ad has the Polk EX-3560 components for $79.99/pair Retail is $250. Circuit City has them (on sale) for $183.99 AND they have a 110% price match guarantee, so I just picked a pair at CC for $69.59+tax after the price match! Fry's ad is good til tomorrow (Tuesday). Beware of Hayward CC manager as he was quite the pr*ck and would not sell the speakers for that price. Emeryville was fine.

These are high efficiency components that should be decent even with the OEM headunit. The mids fit in the doors if you modify the "basket", or I think you can get a basket from Lucid.

I have the EX2540 4" components installed in my rear panels and they are excellent.

You can install a 4" or 5.25 and some small mag 6.5" behind the seats in the vented panel. Its not too hard you just need to cut the hole out. Thanks for posting the GREAT deal its tempting!

In case I wasn't clear, these 6.5's would be good for the front doors (and that's where I will install mine). I just happen to also have the 4" Polk EX components installed in the rear panels (following Lucid's recommendation.) I have been so happy with the rear components that I have been waiting for the Polk 6.5" components to go on sale.

I do not have an amp, so all speakers are running off the stock headunit.
