Mine is actually the back of the passenger's seat. when nobody sit in it i have it all the back and it buzzes as i accelerate.

 

Do you still have a cat or a test pipe?

Alright I'm leaning more and more towards a bad exhaust gasket / seal. I jacked the car up and looked, noticed a tiny bit of rust around the cat / exhaust joint and when i started it I noticed it stunk of exhaust fumes around the middle of the car. All bolts are torqued to spec though etc. Thoughts??

 

if that's the case, then i'd say your cat

 

My hooddampers needed more grease on the knuckle join. Same problem but it's gone now.

I have a metallic buzzing as well but only at 4,800-5,000 rpm. I'm thinking it's just the exhaust rattling or something. Never hear it when in WOT though..
