Default Horrid mettalic buzz

I have a metallic buzz that seems to be coming from passenger-side either door panel or behind the seat.

It sounds like a rattling heat shield and is noticeable during acceleration only. On bumps etc no noise.

I cannot for the life of me figure out wth it is. I've checked the exhaust heat shield nothing. I'm wondering if I maybe have a bad exhaust seal?

Thoughts?

When did you notice it? Was this after you installed your intake/bar?

Nope started about a month or two ago. Been bugging me since then. I can't for the life of me figure it out. I've checked trunk springs, and the exhaust itself seems fine... Its not clutch buzz either.

Ugh, I hate gremlins like this... My bass has rattled loose about every body panel and clip in the interior. Metallic buzzes are the worst though, I'm sorry man.

are you sure it's not the seat itself and not a buzz, but rather a squeak? mine squeaks when no ones sitting it in because my car is stiff. seats have never been removed so it's the passenger seat itself

Yea pretty sure. I'll try to take a vid although its hard to hear over the sound of my car itself. It sounds sort of like a metallic rasping sound.

I thought a metallic rasping sound meant exhaust leak/pipe? I had one on my exhaust and would hear it at 4k-4,700k rpm.

Did you have it before the coilover install or did it appear after?

It might be that I need to take a look. Got to time it when I can get the car up on jackstands.

@Jimmy Before the coil install.
