So first I need to give a big thanks to Owen over at Ren Autoworks (
http://www.rensports.com/). He helped me pinpoint exactly what the heck the car shippers did to cause my hood to sit higher than normal.

Not sure if you guys are interested or even care but I figure I'd post here anyway incase the information is valuable to anyone. Looking carefully at the pictures it looks like they might have tied the car down wrong (hooked to the support bar rather than strapping the car down through the tires).

Since this is going to be covered by insurance, what is the proper way to fix this?

Thanks guys

Wow, that sucks. I don't know how to go about fixing it but I wanted to say welcome. I moved here from Virginia as well (I can see your registration sticker).

Not sure what I'm suppose to be seeing here.

There are specific holes in the body to strap the car down with. Honda uses the same holes to ship the car over from Japan. I am not a fan of tying a car down using the wheels.

I know this thread might be dead, but I had my S2000 shipped a couple months ago and my hood won't sit flush with bumper anymore. I set the hood latch to the lowest setting and even dremmeled the holes a little more. Still not sitting flush but close to it. You think it could have been mounted on the truck wrong? I don't remember how it was mounted because I was too excited when it came.

Can the radiator have been pushed up if it hit from under while loading? While he was unloading it, it didn't scrape anything on the bottom.
