Ok, so I got my car tuned by driving ambitions up by Sac. I have never installed the flashpro into my own computer, but after seeing rydelow's post about the launch control i decided to install it into my laptop so I can activate launch control. My current tune isnt on the flashpro disc that came with the flashpro. If I plug the flashpro into my car, will it automatically upload my current tune or will it put me back to stock? Do I have to call Shad and have him send it to me in an email? Not sure what my next step once installing it on my laptop.

Help?!

Yes you need to have them send you the tune they did for you otherwise it will load the canned tunes. Good thing you pointed that out or you would have adjusted the launch control and would've lost your custom tune

I had to do the same before adjusting my rev limiter and launch control. Once you get the tune sent to you, open it up then you can click on calibrations to adjust.

If it's too confusing for you I can meet up with you to walk you through it.

I may be wrong. But I dont change anything until I upload the last tune. Then save what I changed under a different file name. Someone else chime in please

I'm a bit confused by this but I think what your trying to say is keep a copy of the file, if you can keep it in your inbox without deleting it then that'll do otherwise save one copy on your computer somewhere and don't edit it.

I wanna say my vtec is around the same place as yours, Jei told me but I forgot lol wherever he set it is good because I don't feel a loss of power and I don't get the typical vtec kick.

When a tune is done, you can save that file on your laptop (will be in calibrations folder defaulted by flashpro). Revert to your last tune and make necessary changes (launch control). But I'm at a loss when you plug in the flashpro, does it read the current tune on your ecu? This is why I go back to the saved tunes so if I do change redline and upload it, I dont lose the tune I had flashed before. Yea its late I'm babbling lol

When you plug the fp in to the ecu it can't copy what's on the ecu it only flashes it.
