Hold 'Em at Cache Creek
hey, I think I've caught the No Limit Texas Hold 'Em bug from playing the game online and I want to test my skills against some real people, using real money. Cache Creek is the closest casino to the Bay Area that I know of... has anybody else played Hold 'Em there? what are the betting limits? and are there any No Limit games? what's the gameplay like? and the environment? did you have fun? (Wantone I know you had a misfortune plagued trip up there recently, sorry bro.
I'm wanting of course to start small, and bring maybe only $500 just to hone my skills. fill me in on your experiences. I don't think I need Hold 'Em gameplay tips, just talkin the general play, rules, limits, etc. at Cache Creek. Their website wasn't all that descriptive.

I'm not too sure about Cache Creek (I've never been there), but maybe some other members know if Bay 101 or Garden City (San Jose) has Texas Hold 'em games there? Not sure about them either since I haven't been there in over 10 years.
Just throwing out ideas.

Cache creek is actually pretty car (close to sac town). For local NL hold em - try Lucky Chances casino in Colma. there's the San Pablo casino as well, but theres only 1 table for NL there and its 80% regulars. the game in Colma is pretty tough too (compared to the indian casinos down south)
i haven't gone to cache creek yet, i ts too far for me.
if u were looking for limit hold em, theres a TON of card clubs around.

I play at cache creek almost every weekend. It really varies, you gotta be careful of the new players. You don't have to worry as much for the olders guys there, most of the time, the older guys don't play unless they have something higher than 2 pair. However the newer that come in to try it out are most of the time esy money, but jes be careful.
If you guys are down to get a bay area game goin, nothin serious...i'm thinkin possibly a tourny with a $20 original buy in, plus 1 buy there after? Let me know if you guys want to do this, i'll be glad to host =)

whenever we have the game i will be +1 and bring my friend, unfortunately break begins this week and i wont be back till 1/16. we use to play almost every week over the summer, but only lowly $10 college games. these college games are a complete joke tho, its ridiculously funny sometimes.
