anyone know what would happen to the driver beside paying damage if they ever get caught? I had simlar incident on 880 where the driver responsible just drove off almost hit me with his car, it turns out he didn't have insurance/driver license based on police report several month later. Not sure if the driver was fined or brought to the court or not?

I was involved in a hit and run a few years back. The guy denied the accident.

Long story short....
Me pissed.
What to do?
#### it.
Called my lawyer.
Told my story.
Sued
Go to court
Won.
end of story.

Although it was a headache to do all the paperwork, justice was served.

G'luck bro.

AsianQing would you like to pm me your lawyers contact? same thing happened to me a few months ago (2 or 3) I was at a party inside drinking and 30 people see a guy hit my car. Turned out to be my friends brothers friend. He said he'd pay for it cash and had a few people i know vouch for him. He thought it would be a cheap fix and when the est came in 2k+ (bumper and lip snapped in half and fender has a 2" dent) he's been ducking calls. I was too stupid and drunk at the time to take his info and insurance down and settled for jsut his cell phone number. The guy changed his cell phone number yesterday so that number no longer works.

no offense to the op but if you have no source of info there not getting caught. Im barley able to not let this guy slip away
