Default Hit and run

So like the title states, got hit and they ran. Luckily no dents but paint is missing.

Any recommendations on paint shops and how much am I looking at? I'm in south bay blossom hill area.

is it just your rear bumper, and not your tail light or rear quarter ?

to repaint, it shouldn't cost that much for just the rear bumper..

Most damage is on the bumper, the rear quarter untouched, light is kinda scratched but nothing serious

Dude glad it wasn't worse. Did you catch the plate? Always good to report this in case later they claim you ran.

The most coincidental thing was, I was at O'Reilly's picking up some paint for a project on my lip. Next thing I knew...I walked out with can in hand and saw the damage. I asked some people around they said a van hit me as it was backing out so no I didn't catch the plate. Bad luck...

messed up that no one decided to be a good samaritan and help you out =/

if the rear quarter isn't damaged but just some paint is missing, you should be able to work out a deal with the shop. if anything, they'll recommend it if it's not too bad and just do it for you. but im gonna guess $500 for repaint.

$500 seems bit steep if you are paying cash though and they're not dealing with insurance. I was thinking more $350-400 w/ materials & paint.
