HID light replacement costs?

HID light replacement costs?
Well, today I replaced an HID light in my other car and found out how exorberant the costs can be...especially when the the HID amplifier and inverter go out together. Final cost was $975 on an Acura. I cant imagine our HID system costing any less. Anyone had to replace and components for their S2000 HID system yet?

My right headlight went out about 2 months ago.
Dealer quote 150 for replacement bulb but I called American Honda and they asked the dealer to replace under warantee.
It turned out that the bulb was fine but something call the "inverter" was malfunctioning.

well, under warranty, thats cool, but not if its out of pocket like it was for me.
i guess my christmas gift to myself just gotmore expensive than i planned.
