Hi! I'm a new prospective SF member (pic)
Hey, I'm Tom, I'll be one of the youngest members here at age 20. I'm often in Atlanta but I'm in SF now. I find there are many more s2k in the bay area.
I just purchased a 2000 black on black with 20k miles. It's a blast! I love the car and all the people I've met who own them!
Photographic evicence that the guy who said money can't buy happiness never tried giving all his money to Honda!
my CBR600 F4, not too dissimilar from the s2k[/PHOTO]
I got it for $26,5. What does everyone think of this price? All opinions appreciated.

Welcome to the Bay Area. You are automatically a member if the car is in the Bay Area . Did you buy the car here or in Atlanta? $26.5K for a (MY2000 with all options) car with 20K miles is a great price here, but it is probably on the expensive side if you bought it in Atlanta -- just my guess.
Enjoy the sunshine, open freeways, twisty roads, and the expensive gas of California.

I too purchased a used S2000 a few months ago that had 20,000 miles on it for about the same price you paid. I think it's a decent price. Hope you have fun driving it around, I'm in SF a lot, perhaps I'll run into you sometime. I've got a red/black w/ a few goodies, you'll hear me rumbling down the treacherous roads of SF.

Oh no! It's turning into a bike thread!
I would also like to welcome you to the Bay Area. Whether I take my S2000, or my Ducati, after a spirited drive/ride through the hills I always want to go get the other vehicle and try it again. We have lots of good places here for both quick bikes and quick sports cars.
