Hey Jommell ... I got there to MArina around 230ish, didn't see your car but saw some nice ones .... hope it was a blast for u guys ... weather was way too good for it not to be.
I have spent some time looking at this forum .... who is macr88? the grandaddy ... I think I can learn from your experience macr88, I think I may have seen you there yesterday at Marina too... anyway I could get more info on upcomings meets etc, am really wanting to get into this and track runs too. You and a few others seem to be the guys with the experience. look forward to hearing back.
I'm over the hill from u guys in SJ but get over there all the time.

Come on out to a Friday night meet. You'll meet most of the usuals. I just started showing up less than a year ago and was pleasantly surprised at the great attitude of the group. Lot's of great people and info.

Hello Brian, I wasn't at the Marina Auto X but thinking about going to the UFO auto x soon in Marina.
We all have plenty of experience combined and can help you out with whatever you need. You can take a ride in my car at the Marina event, I found that it helps a great deal to see what someone else does as far as lines and such. John is the man in auto x (very fast). I'm still learning a great deal and trying to drop bad habits.
If you're in the Milpitas area around 9:30-10pm we have our Friday night meet. We just hangout and bullshit about different stuff, usually car related

I guess I wasn't seeing things when I saw my name in the title of this thread hahaha. I wasn't in the area the passed few days but it sounds like you had fun at the autocross event. It's been a long while since I've been to one.
As Mac said, there are plenty of experienced drivers here that are more than willing to give you advice to help you become faster.
