Track car/weekend car in the Bay Area, S2k takes my vote easy.

Sti/Evo are great and you can daily drive them better. S2k makes a bigger departure from your Altima daily. S2k will build your track skills more and has the added benefit of weekend mountain/coast top down cruises.

When I was searching, AP1 was cheaper than Sti/Evo as well. Sti/Evo are either very expensive or beat on and modded to shit. Same can be said about the S, but less for sure. Fortunately they all retain their value so if you weekend it only, you'll sell for not much less than you bought it for if you're smart.

Great point there I have been noticing a lot of modded evo's and sti's for sale. That kind of turns me off even if they are turned back to stock because I don't know how bad they have been beat on. As far as s2k's I believe I have a higher chance of getting one not as beat on. My 00 S2k I had I bought it off a older guy and it only had 25k miles on it so it was fresh. That in general makes me lean more on the s2k side, as well as getting that track experience on a very good track car. I am currently looking at an s2k in LA that seems like a good deal I'll post the link and see what you guys think. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv...539065250.html

Looks nice! I've seen that one on the market since I was first looking to pick up an S in early September and the price looks like it's still about the same. Might be able to negotiate a good deal in the winter with this cold ass front going on

The fun of a turbo can be enough to put you over the top. I personally like the Honda quality of build and fit and finish.

I used to own a Sti and a S2k at the same time.. Ended up selling the Sti because I drove the S2k way more because I liked it so much . If you don't need the extra seats S2k is a lot funner.

Thats exactly what I thought when I saw it figure I could negotiate with a big down payment. If the bonus check comes in soon I might pick it up, if not I'll look around I'm not in that big of a hurry especially since the weather sucks.

Turbo cars are fun no doubt about that, but I figure if s2k power gets boring I can always turbo it too
