Can anybody help on how to reset the SRS light on a 98 V6 camry or do we have to take the car to the dealer?

If I'm correct SRS needs to be done by the dealer. I asked and searched around for my parents Odyssey and we end up bringing it to a Honda dealer.

toyota has to go to a dealer, i think its every 10 years that they go on and its a reminder to check the airbags if they're still gonna work. i had the same problem on my 93 celica conv. ended up having to bring it to the dealer.

personally i think its a scam and i just got ripped the hell off

Sup Wil and Brian? I am still here in PI and due back next month.

I thought the Toyota's would just be like Honda when it comes to reseting the maintenance and SRS lights but I guess not. Well it is going to the dealer then.
Thanks for the help guys

well..you got a aftermarket steering wheel. i can only do it if so happens that you're driving and the srs comes up. i can reset it but not sure if it'll stay off.
