anyone willing to help me replace the glovebox/secret compartment? offering money or favors or food/drink...pm me pls!

willing to drive almost anywhere in the bay but prefer southbay, peninsula, or sf.

also, anyone know where to get the locking mechanism for the glovebox or what is involved to make it work with my current key?

Just take it to a locksmith and they'll be able to fix it.

Favors I'll check the manual now and figure out how to do it j/k

i've pulled that piece out a few times and if you want to remove it to swap the whole thing, pretty much the entire rear section needs to come apart. Quite a time consuming task...

U have to remove the lock cylinder and bring it to the dealer or a locksmith. He can have it match ur key. I had mine done at the dealer thru a friend who no longer works there.
